hi all im a newbie , ive had my california albino king snake 11 years and his name is ernie but he isnt well took him to the vet and he has got wot seems to be a inflamed rib cage he has drugs at the mo but waiting results , they gave me drugs (baytril) but had to go back to vets as he was a pain to to the medicine now they want to give him injections im not doing that so its home then vets every 3rd day , at the mo he looks so low and lack of movement any suggestions to make him feel better , also he hasnt eaten for over 3weeks but then thats not the 1st many thanks brett . |

will keep u all in the know i hpor he will be fine as he is my little boy sounds strange but do anything to keep his health up to gether thanxs brett & ernie |

Hi and welcome.
The medicine he is taking may well be putting him off his food, but at 3 weeks is nothing for a snake of that age. Dont think there is much you can do at the moment but wait for the injections to work.
