Posted - 26/05/2009 : 09:44:37 Me and Lewy are getting a breeding pair of Horsefield tortioses at the weekend. Quite excited because it's something totally different to what we've already got.
Anyone else got any experience with them? Any tips and need to knows? |

Posted - 26/05/2009 : 18:39:12 We had terrapins when i was little - only advice i have is to keep any hungry German Sheperds well away from them. |

Posted - 26/05/2009 : 15:00:07 Well the ones we are getting are 5-6 years old and have been kept by the same owner since they were little. They should be alright.
Plenty of weeds in the garden for them too. |

Posted - 26/05/2009 : 12:59:44 just FYI, i was talking to the couple that have Creature Feature rep shop in Harrogate on Sunday, they're only stocking Hermanns this year as there's a batch of Horsfields that aren't very well, bit like the CF08 royals last year. just a heads-up, hope yours are from a reliable source |
