hi guys another question from me the newb! just bought a thermostat after reading various posts on the forum which worried me,was wandering at what temp to keep my grey banded kingsnake at during the day and at night? ive heard the temp can vary for kingsnakes from different areas? also where to place the probe,atbthe moment its placed inside a rock hide with the heat mat under it where she spends most of her time?

for the grey banded you are looking at a max temp of 33 deg C. The placement should be on the mat not in the hide as the temps will be a lot hotter on the mat to get through the base of the rock hide.
