Is it wise to handle snakes when the eyes are blue?
Am I right in thinking that the blue state takes away some of their eye sight?

From turning blue to shedding, mine is 7-8 days.

Each snake is different but both my Mexican Milk and Mexican Black King are generally in blue for around a week. They then shed 2-3 days after clearing up.
However my oldest Corn and my little Hognose will stay in the blue phase for a fortnight.
