Posted - 22/06/2011 : 18:12:24 Now i don't take this too seriously. But, the other day i was about to chuck out a load of old loo rolls when i thought it would be fun to chuck them in with shadow. He almost immediately start to play/use them. He has since looped himself through, slept in and even pulled one up into his high hide!
I also put his food in one to see what he would do, he was asleep when i intially put it in yet soon woke up and hunted it down and then proceded to devour his tasty snack.
What are your thoughts on this??

Posted - 05/07/2011 : 21:45:29 He is alot bigger than when i got him. Mind you i will be honest i do feed him big meals. Keeps him in his viv and stops him escaping. That said 2 rat fluffs hardly touch he sides now.
Sssid will come back. Keep the faith |

Posted - 05/07/2011 : 19:41:29 He looks as if hes loving it. Ssssid has always shown most interest in the very latest hide, so cant be a bad thing giving them a bit of habitat enrichment. Hoping Sssid makes a reappearance soon, I'm missing my little slippery friend |

Posted - 25/06/2011 : 12:55:59 What a sexy boy, grown loads sonce you did your sig lol! Makes me want to dump a load of loo rolls in my kings viv now, I have done it wth one of the corns and he loved it, spent forever examining and whizzing about so a bet a king would be even more fab to watch. |

Posted - 23/06/2011 : 17:06:16 I think it's purely coincidence that he pulled one into his hide, the only snake known to lift/pull items to a hide/nest are King Cobra's. If anything the 'playing' (which us humans associate them doing) is probably down to new scent in his environment. I have no idea if this gives a snake enrichment. I wouldn't want to say. |

Posted - 23/06/2011 : 00:51:48 What gmac said. Kings I think are one of the nosiest snakes that people can have, so adding something more into the viv gives them reason to be nosey and then spend a few hours having a look and another check for new escape routes as well. |
