Hey guys, I was wondering, how much humidity is to much for a King snake?
I live in an old Bishops Mead and at any time in my house both my digital and analog hygrometers measure 65% humidity. In my vivarium it may sometimes go up to 78% :S

Is this dangerous and if so, can I do something about it?

Yeh additional ventilation is the only other thing I can think of if your water is on cold side and you're using aspen. Let us know how you get on.

I've got my water as far away from the heat source as possible and I'm using aspen bedding.
I didn't actually think about the bacteria and mold growing so yea that would be bad, I will try and make some custom ventilation near the water bowl, lots of time these bank holidays :)
Thanks for the reply!

78% is quite high. High humidity makes ideal conditions for the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi.
Make sure your water bowl is on the cold side of your tank and what substrate are you using? I'd also consider adding some more ventilation to the tank if possible?
