Posted - 08/12/2012 : 07:03:45 Brumation is essential. Where as most corn breeders for bizarre unknown reason don't do.
Stop feeding mid October, gradually drop the ambient temperature untill you reach 10-14 Celsius. Replace water weekly, and then mid February grafually rise the temperature to normal.
You won't be breeding the snakes untill 2014, as your a couple months to late. I wouldn't reccomend putting them into brumation now. It will play with there body clock.
