Hi everyone i hope you are all well. I have a dilema my 8 month old Honduran Tangerine milk snake is getting big and fast.He needs to move up from his fun vivarium to a full vivarium, the thing is i don't know what size to buy him either a 3ft or a 4ft now i know milk snakes normally only grow to 4ft possibley 5/6ft so what size should i buy him? i don't want to buy a 3ft when maybe in a year or two he will need a 4ft.My snake now is 3.4ft and he is growing all the time.Does anybody know what is the maximum size of snake before they are to big for a 3ft vivarium?? |

You could have fully grown king in a 3ft viv i think. The general opinion is that a snake needs a square foot of floor space, per foot of snake. So if your viv was 3ft x 2ft for example, it would do a 6ft snake. So i believe anyhow! Ready to be corrected if needs be. |

a 3ft viv should be big enough for a fully grown hondo. |
