Haha I panicked even more when I did notice her! Thankfully the bulb wasn't on, at the moment its so warm here that her heat mat more than suffices. My worry now is that she's not getting any heat and she doesn't seem to want to come down. Looks cosy up there. I'm sure if she gets cold, she will find her way back to the warmth. I just bought her another hide too!
You could easily get a triangular bracket from B&Q that would fill in that gap and stop her getting up there. It's typical though you spend all the time and effort setting up a viv and she chooses that as her favourite hidey hole.
