They are square-marked toads (Bufo regularis). They have got great characters and it's great to watch then interact with one another.

i like phibs but cant be bothered to have loads of crickets etc in the house again...

They eat earthworms and woodlice out of the garden too

In fact- they'd actually be better for them than commercial crickets. Crickets need gut-loading to be of real value.
