Bought a large Eco terra hide for belle. She approximately 3ft, the hide is way to small. Surprised by this consider its meant to be a large hide. What are you using for a hide?

Would like some ideas, as she's lacking a place to rest

I have a large exo-terras for my lot. The 5' fits in with no problem. Even with the smaller, flatter medium exo-terra my 4' is comfy enough. Both hides are approx 10" in diameter. This provides plenty room as snakes are actually more comfortable and secure if they can feel the inside of the hide against their body. You will be surprised at how small a space they can fit into.

I also use cut down sections of carpet tube from a carpet shop. They are free and make great hides.

Maybe she is just being nosey, she doesnt seem to put her full body in. Then she just's keeps her tail and head out.

I have a medium Exo-terra for my little one. He's only about a foot and a bit long(so has tons of room inside) and he will often sit with his head sticking out and his body close to the entrance of the hide instead of fully inside it.

As said above I too have 5ft kings fit into large exo hides. The XL hides are huge compared to the large. I use them for my larger kings, corn and royal.

1.0 Milksnake
3.3 Kingsnakes
1.1 Royal Python
1.2 Cornsnakes
