Hi,
Our Cali king has suddenly become very viv defensive and he also struck at my son out of his viv today. He is growing quickly and I am wondering if his viv is to small. He is eating well and seems in good health. We handle him and once he is out is usually fine. I have to get him out using a stick now as he coils every time I go to get him out. We feed him in a bucket not in his viv. Any advice or is he just being a normal feisty king?

Buy a pair of gloves and persevere with the handling. My little female cali has her moments, just randomly tries to take a bite out of me for no reason then is fine for months. Joy of owning kings I am afraid. My big male is the same.
You want to get this resolved as much as you can before he is 800g and can give you a proper bite I got my male as an adult so he was already tempremental.
