So I've had Kage a week now, and out of curiosity more than anything I decided to see if she fancied a bite to eat. When she didn't seem interested in the pinkie, I wasn't too concerned, with the stress of moving etc, so I just left it in with her.

This morning, no pinkie! I'm reluctant to even touch the box she's in for fear of disturbing her (she's in a tupperware box in the viv, too small for it yet!) but I had a good look around it when changing her water and she's lying in a satisfied looking heap on the area over the heatmat, under the kitchen roll.

I hope she hasn't stashed it somewhere, I'll check in a couple of days to give her time to digest it if she did eat it. So pleased though, didn't expect her to be feeding so quickly. =) Gutted I missed it all the same.

congrats on the feed. There would be no harm in going into the box and having a look it wont disturb her too much, is better than finding out in a day or 2 there is a big blob of decomposed pinkie lying.

Cheers. Just had a wee look as I was changing her water, definitely gone. She seemed a bit miffed that I lifted the kitchen roll she's under!

Second feed there on friday, again all well although I've noticed an interesting/annoying trend. When I lift her and put her into a separate tub to feed her, she gets very panicky and is utterly terrified of the pinkie.

It's only when I put her into the tub in her vivarium and put the pinky in with her that she'll eat it, and even then she waits til i'm not watching. I'd love to see her feed, but so long as she's eating, I'm happy enough.
